“This time next year Rodney we’ll be millionaires!”. Del Boy’s catchline might be fictional, but the idea that anyone can make money by running a small business is important in British society. Is it true?
Researchers from the Centre for Enterprise and the
University of Liverpool have recently published research that shows how
entrepreneur earnings are affected by their backgrounds and household roles. A
summary of our findings (in layman’s language) will be of interest to anyone
involved in – or thinking about – small enterprise: DOWNLOAD HERE.
We’d love to hear what you think! What is your own
experience? How does your experience relate to the research findings? And what
should Governments, banks etc do to promote wealth-creating opportunities?
